The call for panel proposals for AAS 2023 is now open!

The call for panel proposals closes on May 12.

We are also excited to announce an ethnographic film showcase as part of the 2023 conference program. We invite members of the AAS community who have produced (or are adjacent to) new Australian ethnographic films to submit their work for potential screening at the conference. At this stage, there are no requirements for submissions beyond their production being in relation to genuine anthropological research - this includes creative film works submitted as part of an anthropology research thesis.
